Perito Moreno

Its a big glacier that comes down off the ice-field into a lake here about an hour and a half from the town of Calafate in Argentina.
Its a national park (I think its actually still part of the same "Los Glaciers" park that includes Cerro Torre and Mt Fitzroy).
They charge you a hefty $US25 entry fee to come see it though!. They do boat tours up near the glacier if you really want to get close (not close enough to get ice for your GnT though!)...
But it is very well set up for tourists, and there must be 5Km or more of galvanised steel walkways to keep the tourists safe (actually, it keeps the flora and fauna safe from tourists destroying the environment).

So, I went and I saw, and I took lots of pictures :))
