Turn the Titanic Around

And here I am!

... In Ushuaia at the very bottom of Argentina.
Ive had a poke around on assorted gravel roads, but they all end about here, and if I want to go further South than this, it gets very wet (Beagle Channel) quite suddenly.

Quick glance at the log book and it seems that the trip from Vancouver to here has taken five months and a few days, and that Ive covered more than 35,000Km!
... Thats a mighty long way from home! :))

Other sundry stat's are that Ive used two chains, two and a half rear tires, one and a half front tires, and a full set of brake pads.
Ive had a dozen or more "topple overs" on muddy/technical roads, one significant crash (no other vehicles involved), and only one flat tire.

And, What was the point of it all I hear you ask?
... To which, I can only muster "The streaker's excuse" that "It seemed like the thing to do at the time." :)
...Well actually; Its been giving me time to think things over!... And there are lots and lots of things to think about, so its good that the trip is effectively only half over cos I have lots more thinking to do!

So, Im having a day of rest here and then Ill start riding again.
But, it seems that it is now time to "turn the Titanic around" and head back in the other direction...

Conflicting energies there... Its homeward bound which makes it easier, but its also Northward which feels like "up-hill".

I guess we will just see how it goes :)
