So, it rained in Batopilas and I was stuck there for a day.
Its not a bad place to be stuck for a day,so long as it is only for one day!
Its a small town and has quite a colonial character, but with pretty much all of latin America (that I have seen anyway) for every maintained colonial building, there are two more that are dilapidated, two more that are in ruins, and five more that are more modern and equaly dilapidated!... It gets a bit tiring seeing everything just left to fall apart where it is (cars etc included)
But, fortuneately, the rain did last only one day and I was back on the gravel road heading up hill early the next morning. :)
