As expected, there was quite a bit of rock fall on the road out of Batopilas. Mostly it was not to bad, and in fact, the buldozer driver was out of bed earlier than I was so he had cleard quite a bit before I came through.
But in one place it was a really big rock fall, and it completely blocked the road, and there was a bit of crowd gathered on either side waiting for a buldozer.
But, there were a few motorbikes there, and we dont need much space to get by, so we moved some rocks by hand and then manhandled the bikes around.... With the Vultures looking on in case we "messed up"! :)))
The whole road is cut into very steep and loose hill sides and is usually 100m or more above that raging little river that I mentioned.
Actually, I dont think the vultures would have had much of a feast if we had messed up... Im pretty sure we would have gone straight down the mountain side and into the river... but no risk of drowning.... We'd be dead long before we hit the water :)
